Thalassaen
Thalassaen is an enchanting underwater realm, famed for its magnificent Coral Gardens, where vibrant coral reefs stretch across the ocean floor. The Coral Merfolk, deeply connected to the coral, are the Gardeners of the Sea, tending to the reefs with magic that nourishes the entire ecosystem. Their bodies glow with colorful markings that reflect the coral's radiant colors, making them as vibrant as their surroundings.
However, a dark curse has spread to Thalassaen. The Tears Pearl's corruption is causing the corals to bleach, losing their color and vitality. Worse, the Coral Merfolk themselves are slowly turning to stone, their once-vibrant forms petrifying as the disease spreads. Sections of the once-thriving gardens are now brittle and lifeless, the waters growing cold and desolate.
With time running out, Thalassaen teeters on the edge of becoming a stone graveyard, and only by restoring the balance of magic in Ondura can the Coral Merfolk hope to save their home from a lifeless fate.
Nerine
Nerine is the bold and adventurous daughter of the king and queen of Thalassaen, the Coral Kingdom. With dark skin and flowing dark blue hair, she embodies the essence of the vibrant Coral Gardens. As a skilled healer, she uses coral magic to restore life, but the SirenPearl's curse is turning her home’s reefs to stone.
Fiercely protective of her kingdom, Nerina joins Nymphaea’s group to stop the spread of the curse and save the Coral Gardens. Her deep connection to coral magic and her determination make her a vital ally, though her adventurous spirit can sometimes lead to risky choices.
King & Queen Thalassien
King Corallo and Queen Nerissa were once the wise and beloved rulers of Thalassaen, deeply connected to the magic of the Coral Gardens. Corallo's calm leadership and Nerissa's healing abilities brought peace to the kingdom. However, both were turned to stone by the SirenPearl's curse, plunging Thalassaen into chaos and war as rival factions fight for control in their absence.
Coralynn
Coralynn is a skilled Coral Gardener in Thalassaen and Nerina's closest friend. Calm and nurturing, she works tirelessly to maintain the Coral Gardens, even as the SirenPearl's curse spreads. One of the few who can still breathe life into the dying coral, Coralynn's bond with Nerina strengthens their resolve to save their kingdom from crumbling.
