Abyss

Jagged rock formations and endless chasms define the landscape. The Abyssal Merfolk are ghostly and translucent, though only a rare few, like Lyrielle, can change their colors with emotion. The starlight sustains both the merfolk and the strange creatures of the deep. Isolated from the surface, they guard ancient ocean secrets, but the growing threat of the SirenPearl now stirs the silent depths of Abyss.
Lyrielle
Lyrielle is a ghostly mermaid from the Abyss, with a jellyfish-like appearance that changes color with her emotions. She has the gift of seeing the future, though her visions are often unclear. Living in the deep, she is blind both underwater and on land, avoiding sunlight entirely.
Hikari
Hikari is the graceful and talented wife of Lord Nerith, known as the most skilled Star Seeker in Abyss. With golden hair that glimmers like starlight, she is inspired by the elegance and resilience of the sea star, wearing patterns that reflect its shape. Hikari excels at gathering starlight to sustain the merfolk and creatures of Abyss, her connection to the Stellar Wells unmatched. Calm and determined, she is Nerith's closest confidante, working alongside him to protect their realm from the growing threat of the SirenPearl.
Lord nerith
Lord Nerith is the wise and enigmatic ruler of Abyss, with translucent skin that shimmers in starlight and violet eyes that seem to hold the ocean’s deepest secrets. Respected for his calm authority and deep connection to ancient magic, he watches over the Stellar Wells, which gather and distribute the life-sustaining starlight. Though quiet and distant, Nerith feels the growing threat of the SirenPearl and must decide whether to stay hidden in the deep or rise to protect his realm from the encroaching darkness.
