Glacierra
Glacierra is a vast, frozen land of towering glaciers, icy cliffs, and endless snowfields, where the light reflects off the ice in silvery blues. The Frost Merfolk, pale and resilient, live in ice citadels carved into the glaciers. Their bodies are adapted to the frigid cold, and they possess the ability to manipulate ice and snow, shaping their environment with ancient magic.
Isolated from other kingdoms, the Frost Merfolk are cautious and self-reliant. However, the dark magic of the SirenPearl has begun to spread, causing the once-strong ice to crack and melt from within, threatening their very existence. The balance of Glacierra is slowly fracturing, and ancient dangers hidden beneath the ice stir.
Calypsou
Calypsou is the quiet but eccentric younger sister of Borealis, Queen of Glacierra. She collects crystals of nevermelting ice as talismans, believing in their magical power, and never leaves Glacierra without her umbrella due to her fear of rain. Despite her quirks, Calypsou serves as the group’s magical guide, using her ice magic and crystal knowledge to sense magical disturbances. Her calm, quiet presence and deep wisdom make her an essential ally on Nymphaea's journey.
Queen Borealis
Queen Borealis is the stoic and commanding ruler of Glacierra, the frozen kingdom. With pale, icy blue skin and silver-white hair, she embodies the cold beauty of her realm. Known for her calm authority and unwavering resolve, Borealis is fiercely protective of her people and the balance of magic in Glacierra. Her mastery of ice magic allows her to control the frozen elements of her kingdom, maintaining its fragile harmony amidst the spreading corruption of the SirenPearl.
Though she is respected and revered, Borealis is distant and often seen as emotionally cold, focusing solely on her duty as queen. Her younger sister, Calypsou, provides a softer contrast, and though Borealis rarely shows it, she deeply cares for her.
